The Sidewalk Advisory Committee selects properties that are without a sidewalk, and from that list, prioritizes the most needed areas to have sidewalk installed. The identified project(s) are then included as part of the Engineering Department's work program.
ABOUT THE COMMITTEE:
The Sidewalk Advisory Committee consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor. Committee members serve until they no longer wish to be on the committee.

Meetings are held annually, in January, or as needed, at Marion City Hall, 1225 6th Avenue, Marion, IA.
