PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST POLICY
In 2014, the City Council approved a Public Record Request Policy which defines the procedures and fees associated with handling public records requests.
It is the policy of the City to respond in an orderly and expeditious manner in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 22 to requests to inspect or receive copies of public records maintained by the City of Marion.
Police records requests should be directed to the Police Department.
