If you will be utilizing public property as part of an activity in the course of business or while hosting an event, you may need to complete a Special Event Hold Harmless Agreement Application or a Street/Right-of-Way Hold Harmless Agreement Application. Both agreements are reviewed by staff and may require Council approval.

Special Event Hold Harmless Agreement Application:

This application must be submitted for special events held on City property or requiring city services. We recommend it be submitted at least 60 days prior to the date of the event. A special event would be any public or private event that includes a gathering of people. You do not have to complete the Street / Right-of Way application as part of your event. Please refer to the contacts list and special event deadlines for additional assistance.

To Apply:

  1. Complete the online form.
  2. Staff and/or Council may need to approve.
  3. A certificate of approval will be emailed to the applicant upon approval.

 

Street / Right-of-Way Hold Harmless Agreement Application:

This application must by submitted for activity on City property or public right-of-way not associated with an event at least 48 hours prior to activity. Please refer to the contacts list for additional assistance.

To Apply:

  1. Complete the online form.
  2. Staff and/or Council may need to approve. 
  3. A certificate of approval will be emailed to the applicant upon approval.
