Will Brandt was first elected to the Marion City Council in 2015 and is currently serving his third four year term. He is committed to thoughtful growth, responsible development, and long term planning that supports the community and its residents.

Will brings a practical, community focused perspective to City Council through both his professional background and his long standing ties to the area. He is a graduate of Linn-Mar Community Schools and has lived and worked in the Marion area for many years. In his professional life, Will has been a Realtor with Skogman Realty since 2010, giving him a strong understanding of housing, neighborhood development, and local economic conditions.

During his time on Council, Will has been actively involved in discussions related to community planning, redevelopment, and long term investment in Marion’s neighborhoods and public spaces. He values collaboration with residents, local businesses, city staff, and fellow council members, and believes open communication is essential to effective local government.

Will is the father of three daughters. Two of his daughters have graduated from Marion Independent School District, and one is currently attending Marion High School. His connection to the community through family, work, and public service continues to shape his commitment to Marion and its future.
