The City's contractor, Midwest Concrete, will begin the 31st Street Sidewalk Extension Project on Monday, April 13. This project involves removing and replacing existing sidewalk ramps, as well as installing new sidewalks on the west side of 31st Street, from McGowan Boulevard to 25th Avenue. The contractor plans to start at 25th Avenue and work southward. This project is expected to take 6 weeks, weather dependent.

 

When necessary, during construction, limited partial lane closures are anticipated with this project. During work on each street/intersection, direct access to properties may be impacted. Emergency access will be maintained at all times. Midwest Concrete will notify the property/business owners of the access restrictions.
