2026 Holiday Garbage & Recycling Collection Schedule Post Date: 01/19/2026 10:06 AM
The Public Works Department maintains a holiday collection schedule to coincide with City/department holidays and the Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency. The 2026 schedule is now available. Dates in bold indicate that City facilities are closed, including the Recycling and Yard Waste Drop-Off facilities.
