The City of Marion is pleased to be partnering with GreenState Credit Union to present its free outdoor movie series at Lowe Park.

The movies will be shown at the Klopfenstein Amphitheater for the Performing Arts, 4500 N. 10^th Street, Marion. The feature presentations include:

Friday, May 28 – “Dolittle”

Friday, July 9 – “Sonic the Hedgehog”

Friday, Aug. 6 – “Raya and the Last Dragon”

General seating begins at 7 p.m. The movies will start around 8 p.m., daylight permitting. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for seating.

Outside food and drink are permitted. Select food vendors will be on site, including Kona Ice, The Freeze and free popcorn from the El Kahir Shriners' popcorn mobile.

Advanced reservations will not be required for the Moonlit Movie series; however, guests are asked to maintain six feet of distance between households and be respectful of others’ space. Attendees should stay home if they are feeling ill, have tested positive for the coronavirus or had contact with someone who has tested positive.
