Take a Survey to Help Improve our Watershed
The Indian Creek Watershed Management Authority (ICWMA), with assistance from the Linn Soil & Water Conservation District and the East Central Iowa Council of Governments, is currently conducting a survey about the Indian Creek Watershed. The ICWMA is asking anyone that lives, works, or owns a business in the Indian Creek Watershed area to share their opinions and take the survey athttps://iowaopinionpanel.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5nYj7ee4yK2MNkV.
All qualified participants, those within the watershed area that fully complete the survey, will be entered into a drawing for more than $2,000 worth of prizes. Prizes include free campsites, pool passes, and gift cards from Theisen’s.
The survey, conducted by the Vernon Research Group, is confidential and anonymous and the results will be used by local groups to help improve the vitality of the Indian, Dry and Squaw Creeks. It will also help to assist landowners, farmers, businesses and citizens in their efforts to protect and enjoy our water resources.
The Indian Creek Watershed is a 93-square mile area of land that drains into the Indian Creek, including all of Marion and Alburnett and parts of Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, Robins and Linn County. To see if you are in the watershed area, please go to http://goo.gl/maps/mlHSJ.
