Marion Community Survey Now Open to All Residents
Marion residents not randomly selected to participate in the 2019 Community Survey are now invited to participate in the online version of the survey. It is designed to evaluate how the city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of the City and to make comparisons with peer cities.
The survey, administered by National Research Center, Inc., is now available online at https://bit.ly/marion2019survey. Any Marion resident over the age of 18 is eligible to participate.
“We value the opinions and perspectives of our residents,” said Mayor Nicolas AbouAssaly. “The results will be used to inform our strategic plan, the budget process and department work plans. I encourage everyone living in Marion to take the survey and help us chart our community’s future.”
Similar to the random survey mailed to 1,700 households last month, the survey includes questions about quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, ratings of local government services and resident use of services.
Residents who received one of the mail-in surveys should complete that instead of the opt-in survey.
The deadline to participate in either version of the survey is Aug. 28, 2019.
