The latest results find that quality of life, safety and and neighborhood conditions remain standout strengths. City services, cleanliness and health-related services also performed strongly. 93 percent of residents rated the community as an excellent or good place to live. "Beyond the Blonde" to Perform at Lowe Park this Saturday
The City of Marion will welcome “Beyond the Blonde” to the Klopfenstein Amphitheater at Lowe Park (4500 N. 10th Street, Marion) on Saturday, July 18, as part of its Music Under the Moon concert series sponsored by Veridian Credit Union.

Water Main Break on 5th Avenue between 10th and 11th Streets
The repair is expected to take 4-6 hours, or longer. The area affected includes homes along 5th Avenue between 10th Street and 13th Street, as well as the Marion Public Library, Marion City Hall and Vernon Middle School.

7th Avenue between 10th and 12th Streets to Close this Saturday for Uptown Marion Market
Seventh Avenue between 10th and 12th Streets will close at 6 a.m. on Saturday for vendor move-in and will remain closed until 1 p.m. to accommodate move-out. Detours will be posted.
