Staff has worked with Stanley Consultants to create an extension of the 2009 Marion Central Corridor Master Plan. The Plan focuses on creating zoning districts, establishing design standards, and identifying permitted uses for those properties located between 2nd Street & 31st Street and 5th Avenue & 9th Avenue.

The Central Corridor Zoning Districts Plan - 2019 currently being considered for adoption creates new zoning districts. With these new districts, code amendments to Chapter 176, Zoning Regulations are required.
