The following are projects that public notice has been sent via postcard.  The meetings are conducted at Marion City Hall (1225 6th Avenue) unless otherwise noted.  Project information is removed following final action  (approval / denial) by the Marion City Council.  If you are looking for a project not listed please contact the Marion Planning and Development Department at 319-743-6320.

Rookwood Estates Preliminary Plat and Rezoning

The applicant is seeking to rezone property located south of Fernow Road and east of Prairie Ridge Avenue.  The applicant is seeking to develop 45.5 acres of land for residential purposes including traditional single family homes, duplexes, and multi-family units.

Indian Creek Way 1st Addition Final Plat to Linn County

The applicant is requesting a farmstead split of an approximately 25 acre parcel. The split would create one lot (farmstead), along with an outlot (remaining farmland), and a lettered lot for public right-of-way dedication.  The property is located south of Indian Creek Way, west of Highway 13. Marion reviews county plats located within 2-miles of the city boundary and makes recommendation to the Linn County Board of Supervisors whom make the final decision.
