The following are projects that public notice has been sent via postcard.  The meetings are conducted at Marion City Hall (1225 6th Avenue) unless otherwise noted.  Project information is removed following final action  (approval / denial) by the Marion City Council.  If you are looking for a project not listed please contact the Marion Planning and Development Department at 319-743-6320.

The City of Marion is seeking to amend the Marion Municipal Code by establishing Section 176.53, Marion Municipal Airport Land Use & Height Overlay Zoning. Marion has received a grant from the IDOT related to the establishment of Comprehensive Plan and Zoning regulations relating to the project of the airspace surrounding the Marion Municipal Airport.
