The primary goals and objectives of the Tree Board are to study, investigate, counsel, develop, update annually and administer a written plan for carrying out the planting, removal, maintenance and protection of all trees and shrubs on public areas.
ABOUT THE BOARD:
The Marion Tree Board has seven (7) board members who are appointed to serve an initial 4 year term and three (3) members who serve a three (3) year term.

The Park Board meets at 7:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Parks Administrative & Operations Building at Thomas Park. All meetings are open to the public.
