Marion Public Library to Host Meet & Greet wtih New Library Director
The staff and Board of Trustees of the Marion Public Library are inviting the community to meet Director Hollie Trenary on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
Trenary most recently hails from Cedar Rapids Public Library, where she served as Operations Manager for the past three years. She has worked within the library industry for nearly 20 years, including seven years at SirsiDynix, an automation company that currently provides service to the three libraries in the Metro Library Network. Trenary’s decades of library experience, history of volunteer work for non-profits and commitment to strengthening partnerships make her a thoughtful and passionate leader for MPL.
Marion Public Library’s 12th Director, Hollie assumed her duties on Sept. 4 and looks forward to this event and the many opportunities she’ll have in the future to engage with library patrons.
Two open house sessions will be held, from 11:15-11:45 a.m. and from 5:30-6 p.m. These will be held at Marion Public Library and offer an opportunity to connect with Hollie over coffee and a treat. No RSVP is required.
