Marion seeks Resident Opinons through National Citizen Survey
Online Link Available to All Residents in Mid-April
This spring, the City of Marion is asking residents to participate in The National Citizen Survey™ (NCS™). The survey is designed to provide a baseline of how the city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of the city and to make comparisons with peer local government agencies.
The survey centers on community livability and includes questions about the quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, rating of local government services and resident use of services.
In March, a random, scientific sample of 1,500 households in Marion were invited to participate in The NCS™. Their confidential responses will be weighted and analyzed.
To provide all residents with the opportunity to weigh-in, an online link to The NCS™ will be available next month. A link to Marion’s Citizen Survey will be posted on the City website on April 14 and will remain open for two weeks.
Residents who received one of the mail surveys are encouraged to complete those instead of the online opt-in survey.
